NPIX had participated in and supported Universal Acceptance (UA) Day 2025, organized by the Federation of Computer Association Nepal Federation (CAN Federation) in collaboration with ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers). The event aimed to promote the universal accessibility of internet domain names and email addresses—regardless of language, script or character length. This initiative encourages the localization of internet services in users’ native languages and scripts, thereby fostering digital inclusion.

To further this mission, UA Hackathon Nepal 2025: Pioneering UA-Ready Platforms was organized to develop innovative platforms aligned with the principles of universal acceptance.
